My Outfit: Sequins and Plaid

Get the look! Shirt – Old Navy (similar); Sweater – Express (similar); Skirt – Loft; Boots – Sole Society; Wrap Bangles – Stella & Dot; Bangles – Stella & Dot; Watch – Michael Kors; Obsessed with my new red lipstick! Make-Up Forever – Moulin Rouge

I really should do a 30×30 Challenge, like Jessica over at Here&Now. So far in December i’m all about my plaid shirt, last seen here and my sequin skirt last seen here. It’s on my to-do list for my blog in 2013 and it’s something that every girl on a budget should challenge themselves to.

I spent the day in NYC with my Mom doing some extreme shopping (for x-mas gifts of course!), checking out the tree, eating some pasta and catching a Broadway show, so I kept the look more on the casual side making sure to wear comfortable flats. I love the look of the plaid and sequins together and i’m already planning other outfits with that combo. What are your holiday go-to items?
